Welcome to “AI Explorers: Adventures in Robotville” – an exciting online course designed especially for 7- to 11-year-olds! Over 10 weekly sessions, we’ll take a playful journey into the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and learn about the clever technology behind robots, smart assistants, and more.
Our adventures will explore what AI is, how computers learn to “think,” and how people teach them to recognize patterns, play games, and solve problems. Along the way, we’ll also talk about fairness and kindness in AI, like how to make sure computers treat everyone equally and don’t share private information.
Children will get hands-on experience with fun and creative industry leading tools:
Scratch to design simple games and animations,
Google Teachable Machine to train their own mini AIs,
Microsoft Copilot to explore how AI can support creativity and productivity,
and ChatGPT to learn how AI can answer questions and spark new ideas.
Through stories, interactive games, and mini-projects, this course sparks curiosity and imagination while building an understanding of ethical AI and digital citizenship.
